Here come the May flowers!

It is May; the April showers have gone and soon even more May flowers will appear. One blessing that the cooler weather has provided is a longer life to my tulips. It is the 1st year that I have grown them and I love them! Spring flowers bring such a beautiful contrast to the brown soil.  With the daffodils and tulips lasting longer it makes it easier to see the good in the cooler weather and the slow spring.

May is also the time to thank all of the wonderful mothers who so generously give to their families. It is a special time for them although many just continue to give and give. Remember there will come a day when you won’t be able to look them in the eye and say “Thanks” and I encourage you to do it while you can.
